Current InRush Limiter
The
MOC Current InRush kit is intended to reduce the high
current inrush in professional amplifiers. It uses
a MOC 3041, a special zero-crossing opto-coupler to
fire an industrial grade 40A 600V triac after a pre-determined
delay.

This
kit works directly off the 120V Mains, therefore no
transformer is needed unlike in the Current
InRush Limiter kit. It is not recommended
for buyers without basic electrical knowledge as touching
a "live" trace on the pcb can be fatal.
